The oldest told me today “I think when I grow up I want to be a cop.”
I responded: “That’s fun. Why did you choose a cop?”
Her response: “Because then I could make sure everyone follows all the rules.”
This quote epitomizes our oldest kids passion in life because earlier in the day, this was our conversation while driving in the car:
A: “Mom, didn’t I just see a school back there?”
Me: “Yes, I think we just passed a school. Why?”
A: “If we passed a school, why would you answer your phone when it rang? Isn’t that against the rules?”
Typical firstborn right? =) I think she’ll do a great job “making sure everyone follows the rules.”
